We email our members about news and events. For example last winter our monthly working parties carried out essential maintenance including

1. strimming and tidying the hedge adjacent to the playing field
2. coppicing hazel in the wild area
3. some tree surgery to ash trees by the orchard
4. lowering the height of the hedge in the wild area
5. tidying up the wild area

A professional contractor might have charged about £500 for the work carried out by our members.

Those members who cannot attend working parties may wish to make a voluntary contribution so that we can fund work which volunteers cannot manage.
